Enriching Catholic Charities & Living Justice
Reinvigorate the Church’s mission to serve in our communities. The counselors at Catholic Charities support families and individuals struggling most in life. They help with mental health counseling, financial services, immigration and refugee programs and housing issues including homelessness.
Enriching Catholic Charities and Living Justice
"Charity and justice are actually two sides of the same coin or like the right and left hand of the body of Christ, the Church. When we do acts of charity, we ought to be thinking about how we can be part of a solution on a systematic level so that people are not devastated by the unjust actions of others."
Bishop David L. Ricken, Parishes: Called to be Holy, Fully Engaged, Fully Alive
Provide outreach to people struggling in life
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Green Bay lives out the mission of the Gospel in serving families and individuals who are most in need in our communities. They address gaps in service and respond to those among us that others won’t serve. We will renew our commitment to people in need by:
- Providing addiction outreach and services and adding more alcohol and drug abuse counselors
- Addressing issues of homelessness
- Expanding social services in more communities throughout the Diocese
- Engaging parishes and community partners in strategies to respond to community and individual needs
